If you’re invited to many dinner parties and wish to bring your children with you than this article is for you. Before you go, you must teach your kid the proper etiquette. In order to do this, try to make a tea party for your kid’s friends so they all can learn how to behave properly during such gatherings.

Arrival

When the guests arrive at the party, each kid should choose their seat and stand behind it until the host pulls out her chair as that is the signal that everybody can sit. The tea time participants should sit up straight in their chairs with their hands resting on the lap.

Passing and handling foods

The person picking up the plate to pass it should not help themselves to the foods first.

Being Polite

teach to eat slowly and politely, and even make the children practice dinner conversation with each other. Sit at the table until everyone is done and practice what it means to be polite at a dinner party.

Manners-on / Manners-off

During the fake tea party, teach all the manners as listed above. But in addition, choose another night to have a “manners off” dinner in which the child can do whatever they want. This will help them see the difference between the two but also let them release tensions, meaning they will arrive at the dinner party more relaxed.
