You can do so much in your backyard with your kids. You can find hidden treasures; build a treehouse or even camp outside. The fun does not have to stop here; you can have fun inside with indoor games as well. Here are a few games you can play to keep your little ones engaged:

Balance beam

This game is quite easy; you only need a colored sticky tape. The kids have to walk on the tape without falling. You can make it more interesting by making them walk backward. They can also count the steps as they walk on the tape.

Listening game

This game is educational and exercises the listening abilities of kids by making them concentrate. You can play music and place chairs in the middle. When the music stops, the last child to get a chair is out of the game.

Indoor bowling

Even during a rainy day, you can have fun with your kids. You can build a bowling alley in the hallway. Some bowling set toys are made for this purpose, but when it is not available, you can use empty paint buckets.

Pitching pennies

This game helps develop your child’s hand-eye coordination, and you can tweak it to suit your kids.

Letter game

This game involved calling out names, places, animals and things matching a letter of the alphabet. You can write it down if your child is old enough to write.
