Holiday greeting cards don’t need to be cliché or generic. You can make something new and exciting while having fun with your kids. These tips can show you how to create a holiday greeting card that is both creative and captivating:

Take a good photograph

Go to a professional or take it yourself if you have the skills. Professionals are the best when it comes to conveying the essence of an event in your life. If you don’t want to go this route, check your pictures for any photos you can use for this purpose.

Write an important message

Keep the message short and simple. It should be meaningful and heartfelt. Wish recipients a happy holiday and ask how they are. You can also let them know how you are doing. The photo attached to the card gives them a glimpse of your life. However, the words you use are also important. Let your kids write a message as well.

Reflect your family values

Take a photo that reflects your values as a family. Do the kids love wearing matching sweaters? Or is it forced to present a picture of a perfect family? Allow the kids to choose attires for the photo so they can be a part of the process.

When you send a greeting card, it says a lot about your family. The photo doesn’t need to be perfect; the gesture will be greatly appreciated.
