]]>Lay the garment on a flat surface and gently scrape what you can off the fabric with a bristle brush (an old toothbrush will do). Then, cover the remaining stain with bicarbonate of soda (baking soda) and after a few minutes, pour some club soda on top to create a fizzing effect before adding to the washer.
Gently scrape away the excess before covering the stain in any liquid laundry detergent, soak in warm water for about 20 minutes, remove from the water and apply a stain remover if you have one. Wash at a high heat depending on the fabric.
Rub the stain with dish soap before thoroughly rinsing the area under a warm tap, apply a stain remover and wash on the highest heat the fabric can tolerate.
Remove excess with a tissue and cover the stain in a liquid detergent, soak in warm water for 30 minutes before adding to a hot wash.
